About Changemakers Music

A Member of BMI with over 100 Published Songs

CHANGEMAKERS MUSIC is the name we are using for our lyric writing service. Though listed as CHANGEMAKERS PUBLISHING on BMI, we now  primarily use Changemakers Publishing for our books.

We have been involved in writing lyrics for songs for over 20 years, and have been a member of a number of music industry organizations, including BMI, the Country Music Association, the Nashville Songwriters Association, and the West Coast Songwriters Association.

We have previously had a half-dozen cuts on independent record labels, including “The Truth about Lying” (Sun Star), “What I Told You on the Pillow” (Sealco), and “Listen to the Echoes” (Sheheshe Records). “An Innocent Man” was used in the film “Justice on Trial” about Gary Graham, a man on death row in Texas for a crime he claims he didn’t commit.

More recently, we have turned about 20 of our songs into music videos, featuring a variety of music styles including country, pop rock, gospel, rap, and reggae. We now specialize in writing the lyrics and work with co-writers who write the music. We can then assist in getting the songs produced as music demos or videos, or our co-writers can do this. If you want a song written for a particular purpose, we can write the lyrics for you.

Changemakers Music is a division of Changemakers Publishing and Writing, which is involved in all kinds of writing from books to blogs and website copy — and songs.
